How to do LEGOLAND® Water Park in One Day
Blog - June 17, 2023

Are you going to LEGOLAND® Water Park in One Day? There is so much to do, it’s worth spending the whole day in the sun. Grab a locker to put your stuff in and go play in the water!

This is a Sponsored Post for LEGOLAND® Parks.  However; all opinions are my own.

We recently went back to Legoland, Florida, for my son’s 6th Birthday.  We stayed at the Legoland Hotel which is always so much fun.  This time he brought his best friend, Aaron.  It was his first road trip with a friend.  Usually, we go as a family with his brother, so this was extra special.  He felt really grown up.

Right away they went straight to the treasure hunt in the room where they found the first of many future LEGO sets to build.

The boys had so much fun in the room getting rowdy in the bunk bed!  We didn’t get much sleep, between the giggling and excitement for the next day.

Then we hit the pajama party and Master Model Builder Sessions where they built a plane.

I got to lay by the pool for a while. It was short-lived but refreshing.

There were also a lot of Whoopee Cushion shenanigans.

We planned on going to the park but ended up staying the whole day at the water park. The last time we hit the water park we felt like we needed more time. Time goes by quickly there, between the amazing Beach-n-Brick Grill and the cool attractions, it is worth dedicating a good amount of time to it.

My favorite part of the water park is the LEGO® Wave Pool.  You literally feel like you’re at the beach, but the waves don’t totally knock you over, lol.

Duplo Splash Safari

We started slow with the Duplo Splash Safari, my son, and his best friend Aaron. With shallow waters and easy slides, it is the perfect area to start or finish the day. Since the water isn’t deep you can relax your guards and enjoy a little bit of R&R before the real festivities start!

Build-a-Raft River

Then, the kids wanted to go on the Build-a-Raft River. You get to ride on a raft equipped with building pads where you can attach the giant floating LEGOS that you pick up in the River. You can even get competitive with the other rafts going down the River. The current is fast enough to move the raft, but slow enough to make it safe should someone fall off.

We went around a couple of times and then it was time for some well-deserved savory treats at the Beach-n-Brick Grill. Beach-n-Brick Grill is very much like every restaurant throughout Legoland, it offers delicious, REAL, food, unlike other theme parks where the food can be scary.

The kids had hot dogs and I enjoyed a nice salad. It is easy to overdo it when you are on vacation, especially at an amusement park. The excuses pile up: “I’m on vacation, I’m walking it off, there wasn’t any other option on the menu” etc.

So, it is refreshing to be able to enjoy a salad and stay on track (it doesn’t mean I didn’t have ice cream from the Ice Cream Hut…).

Joker Soaker

After lunch, it was time to lounge on the other side of the Water Park around the Joker Soaker. The Joker Soaker is the ultimate water playground. It has pretty much everything you can think of as far as a water playground is concerned.

But my favorite feature is the lounge chairs that are located right in front of it! It’s perfect for me to work on my tan, relax from the earlier excitement, and digest my ice cream.

a wheelchair at Legoland Florida

As I sat there lounging while the kids played I noticed this wheelchair.  It made me happy that whoever had been wheeled around in it was enjoying themselves at the park.  No matter what, the wheelchair did not stop them from going out to the Joker Soaker!

The LEGOLAND® Water Park is worth spending the whole day at.  You will not be disappointed. You better get going because of AWESOME AWAITS!
