I love sugar.  Let me rephrase:  If it’s raw sugar I’m in! I will not hesitate about anything when it comes to raw sugar.  Put it in my coffee.  Yes, please!  Exfoliate my skin.  Oh yeah!  I am a firm believer in adding raw sugar to EVERYTHING.  Life is just a lot sweeter that way.

But what about life?

Such intense thoughts I’m having at not even 11:00 in the morning.  I think I need another coffee….be right back.

Okay, I’m back with coffee in hand.  Let’s continue this conversation (ahem, review) about raw sugar.  Well, it’s really about Raw Sugar Living.  Confused? Don’t be.  I am rambling about raw sugar and life.  This equals Raw Sugar Living, an amazing product line that integrates raw sugar with living life purely.  I don’t know about you, but everything I do with my life takes awareness, including showering.  Sometimes, this is the only moment I have to think about my life and what am I doing to participate in this chaotic world.

So I love the fact that when I pick up my shower wash it says, “awash in expectation.”   raw sugar awash in expectationAs I contemplate, I get to inhale and start my day with the most wonderful scent of vanilla and raw sugar.  It has essential oils such as Vanilla Bean from Madagascar for calming, Sugar Cane from Hawaii for energizing, aloe Vera from Egypt for healing, and Shea Butter from Africa for soothing.

What did I think of it?

Well, I love the smell obviously.  That’s the most important thing for me.  The combination of essential oils is perfect.  I also liked the packaging with the top having a rustic look to it.  It lathers but is not that soapy.  However, I didn’t use a loofah so that could of made a difference.  I also would of liked it to have a pump.  Life is so much easier with pumps, especially with two kids.  But I really enjoyed it anyway, and sometimes life just doesn’t hand you pumps.

raw sugar hard to hold pure bath soapThe second product they sent me was the Hard To Hold Bar Soap.

The box came with two large Lemon Sugar scented soaps.  They sort of looked like massage paraphernalia.  So I used the soap to massage my neck.  I’m not sure if that’s what the intention was with the shape of the soap but hey, it’s all about living life, right?  Nothing like a massage in the shower.  Bring it on!

So the essential oils in this soap are Lemon from Italy for purifying, Sugar Cane from Spain for energizing, Coconut from Hawaii for moisturizing, and Aloe Vera from Egypt for healing.

What did I think of this soap?

I loved the smell.  I found it moisturizing and I loved the little grooves in the soap to use as a massage tool.  I would of liked a little more lather, but again, I didn’t use a loofah.  I tend not to buy them because here in Florida it’s so humid, nothing seems to properly dry.  However, If I was back in my home State, Arizona I’d definitely be using one.

I had a chance to read up on Raw Sugar Living and liked the fact that everything is cold pressed, certified organic, eco-friendly, and cruelty free.  Also, with every product purchased Raw Sugar Living donates a bar of soap to a child in need of a cleaner living.
