So, I thought what better way to add a special touch to our Valentine’s Day celebration than by making some special Pikachu cupcakes inspired by the classic Poké Ball? And these look professional enough to use at a Birthday Party too!
How to Make Professional-Looking Cupcakes
It’s all in the sprinkles and the icing! You don’t need to pay big buck,s to get award winning cupcakes. Etsy has great, detailed sprinkles to add along with the toppers. A double piping bag creates a nice illusion with the icing. You don’t have to be a professional baker to make these!
The one thing about box cupcakes is that box cake taste just as good as “made from scratch” cupcakes. There are so many cake mixes that taste fantastic, cutting out the time needed for other things to prepare for a party.

- Cupcake Liners
- Cupcake Toppers- Pokémon V1 Cupcake Toppers
- Box Cupcake Containers
- 2 Color Piping Bags
Ingredients
- Box of vanilla cake mix
- Eggs
- Oil
- water
- Buttercream Icing
- Food Coloring
- Pokeball Sprinkles- Caught ‘Em All! Edible Sprinkle Mix
- Pikachu Sprinkles- I Choose You! Edible Sprinkle Mix
Instructions
1. Preheat oven to 350 degrees F. Prepare cake mix according to package instructions and spoon batter into a lined cupcake tray.
2. Bake until a toothpick inserted in the center of the cupcakes comes out clean.
3. Allow cupcakes to cool completely before icing them with buttercream.
