This is a sponsored post for Torani. All opinions are my own.
Summer is here and we are building a pool. Yes, we are building a pool. So, of course I’m thinking about barbecues, refreshments, and parties in our backyard. I’m imagining lots of summer days outside sipping on delicious summer drinks. Recently, I’ve been looking for the best mocktails for summer. Specifically a low carb summer drink refresher recipe.
I used to bartend in another life in Miami Beach, and one of the most popular drinks I made was the Mojito, a traditional Cuban drink. It is known to be the least liked to make by bartenders because of the labor.
However, it is one of the most popular drinks in Miami so a bartender has to get used to making them all the time!
It’s getting hot here in Arizona and I love trying different keto freindly drink recipes to cool down, especially non alcoholic ones, like Mocktails. Mocktail recipes are just drinks with fruit juices or other soft drinks, sometimes copycat alcoholic drinks.
Usually they are dressed up like a cocktail and look pretty. If you’re pregnant, this is a great drink recipe that will cool you down from the summer heat on a hot summer day.
What is a Mojito Cocktail?
A Mojito is a traditional Cuban drink that dates back to the 1,500’s served in a highball or collins glass. The cocktail often consists of white rum, sugar, lime juice, soda water, and mint. But a Mojito without alcohol is called a “Virgin Mojito” or “Nojito.” My favorite part of this drink is the fresh mint leaves. If there aren’t fresh mint leaves, it is not a traditional mojito.
Mojito’s always remind me of Cuba. I didn’t just serve them in Miami, I had the privileged of going to Cuba!
What is a Mojito Mocktail?
A Mojito mocktail is the mojito recipe without the liquor. Instead, juices, sodas, infused waters and many other non-alcoholic ingredients, mixed in just the right ratios, provide flavor. So, this recipe is a keto mocktail with 0 carbs with the option for adding alcohol (6 carbs).
A Raspberry Keto Mojito Recipe with Alcohol
A Raspberry Keto Mojito Recipe with Alcohol is the same exact recipe, expect you can just add 2 oz of white rum. This is add about 100-120 calories and 6 carbs, whereas the Mojito recipe has zero carbs. This is the traditional Mojito recipe with a raspberry twist.
The good news is that it is still low carb!

The key to making a delicious sugar free, low carb Mojito Mocktail is using Torani Puremade Zero Sugar Syrups, like Puremade Zero Sugar Raspberry Syrup.
If you like a fancy rim on your cocktail, just pop some freeze dried raspberries in the nutribullet and mix with a pinch of lime crystals.

Use lime that you used to squeeze lime juice and wipe it around the rim of the glass. Then turn the glass upside down and move the glass around until the whole rim is covered in raspberry powder.
tip – you can also use monk fruit if you like keto sweeteners
Does this not look mouthwatering? It’s the best low-carb mojito recipe I’ve ever had.
But you can also make without the rim.
Torani Puremade Zero Sugar Syrups are made from sweeteners that are natural and contain zero calories. No artificial sweeteners, no artificial preservatives, no GMOs. Colors from natural sources.
I love that Torani Sugar free syrups are easy to use, just add a spoonful to your coffee, cocoa, latte, or mojito for an everyday treat.
This Raspberry Mojito Mocktail is so refreshing and light.

For a party pitcher, just use a large shaker and make the recipe X 4. Don’t forget to use a lime wedge for each cocktail.
This is the perfect drink for a Birthday Party too. My son asked me to make it for his Birthday! Don’t forget the lime wedges.
