Kid-Friendly Hotels for Las Vegas Getaway Packages
We chose the Luxor Resort and Casino because of its cool Egyptian theme which we thought the kids would appreciate. It worked! The kids loved the various statues and decorations throughout the kid-friendly hotel.
Our bedroom was spacious and had the amenities we needed. Two comfortable queen beds and a large TV.
Best Pools for a Las Vegas Getaway Packages
My kids love hotel swimming pools. They love pools in general, but there is something about discovering what the swimming pool is like at the hotel that is magical to them. The Luxor Resort and Casino did not disappoint!
The swimming pool is split into 3 main areas: private cabanas, an adult pool, and a kid-friendly pool (there are cabanas in that area as well). There are even lifeguards to make you feel more secure. We chilled out at the pool and enjoyed some food and drinks.
The boys loved it, and if you’re looking for some cocktails you can hit up the Oasis Bar, they have a great selection of liquor and cocktails.
There are many food options inside the Luxor Resort and Casino, from a food court with Nathan’s Hot Dogs, Johnny Rockets and an NY style pizzeria, to Rice, an elegant sushi restaurant, Diablo’s Cantina and a few more. For breakfast we chose the Pyramid Cafe.

You can escape to the Nurture Spa and get a facial or a massage. It is a sanctuary designed with your total wellness in mind. Experience the Dry Sauna, Eucalyptus Steam Room, Jacuzzi and the relaxation lounge. It is also home to a pretty complete gym which is complementary for hotel guests.
There are plenty of bars and casinos inside the hotel. Get ready to play your luck!
This deal includes a $100 gift card for Pampas Brazilian Steakhouse, a lively Brazilian joint with all-you-can-eat grilled meats as well as a salad bar and sides. If you are familiar with Brazilian steakhouses, Pampas will look very familiar to you. The atmosphere and the staff are very welcoming.
They have a great wine selection from different parts of the world. Of course, being a Brazilian steakhouse there are lots of choices for red wines!
They have a fresh market station with 40 homemade salads, soups, sides and entrees. In many all-you-can-eat steakhouses the salads and sides leave something to be desired, but not at Pampas! Their salads and sides are great with something for everyone.
You will enjoy the Meat Rodizio with a variety of meats including Picanha Nobre (Brazilian Top Sirloin), Conta-File, Lombo (pork), Cordeiro (lamb) and so much more. If you have never tried Picanha you should definitely try. Pincanha is a specific Brazilian cut of meat that you will only find at a Brazilian butcher or in a Brazilian steakhouse. It is a tender cut of beef that offer a different way to enjoy beef. A must try! Everything was delish!
Your waiter will give you a chip (it’s Vegas, of course it’s a chip!). Red means no more meat, green means “keep it coming”. The waiters walk the restaurant’s floor tirelessly with the Rodizio bringing all sorts of meats and sausages. Want something specific? Just ask, and a waiter carrying a large skewer will have it by your table in no time!
Don’t forget dessert! We had their chocolate cake and the flan. Both were very good.
