Easy DIY Greeting Cards
May 28, 2020

Who doesn't love getting a greeting card? Lately, I've been getting crafty and and decided to make DIY personal greeting cards for people I care about. I never considered it before, but since having to stay home because of Covid-19, I haven't been going to the store as much. I love getting creative but don't enjoy shopping for craft supplies anymore so I shop online. I also thought making DIY Greeting Cards would be time consuming and difficult. But making DIY Greeting Cards is quite easy if you use cardstock. I have terrible handwriting so puffy sticky letters help too. Here is an easy DIY Greeting Card tutorial. Instead of using paint to color sticks, use OOLY Brush Markers. Folding the flowers …

How to Make a Play Room Look Like a Living Room Space
April 30, 2020

Last year, we moved from Florida to Arizona and settled into a bigger house. In Florida things were a little cramped and the kids shared a room. Now they both have their own rooms and we have a huge back yard and extra space for them to have their own playroom. Yea! It was a total win moving to Arizona. With all this space, we have a playroom which is also a front living room and it looks cluttered.  We need some major home improvement. My visions of having tea with a friend while the kids play were starting to look slim.  No one wants to sit in a pile of LEGOS.  At least not me. So, I spend time in the other living room …

6 DIY Easter Bunny Treats
March 15, 2020

I was never into Easter decorations and sweets until I had kids.  In Greece, Easter is a major religious holiday and in England we had a chocolate egg filled with chocolates but no Easter Baskets. When I moved to the U.S. it was a little strange getting an Easter Basket.  So, I still don't really do anything too big for the kids.  I'd rather make Easter DIY crafts with them.  I hide some eggs and get some items from Target to build a little basket for them.  But I don't like to be excessive. I do really love fun DIY Easter Bunny treats though and so do the kids. So, I found 6 really awesome DIY Easter Bunny treats to make this Easter. The first one …

How to have a TMNT Party for a Four-Year-Old
February 1, 2020

I love doing Birthday parties for my kids.  It’s fun to organize, brings out the creativity in me and makes me feel like a kid again! Last year we had a very successful LEGO Themed party for my three-year-old.  This year he’s turning four-years-old and wanted a Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles themed party.  I can’t say I was happy he chose that, especially since he doesn’t watch it or even know what it is.  He must have heard of it from school or maybe saw his brother play a Ninja Turtles game.  Either way, I was disappointed. I was hoping Unicorns or Superheroes.  A mom can dream, can't she? So, I brainstormed and thought of a way to have a toned-down Ninja Turtle themed party while …

How to Make Non Candy Valentine's Conversation Hearts with Recycled Crayons

I'm not sure how long the Valentine's Conversation hearts candies have been out.  I've been receiving them since I was a little girl.  I never even liked the taste of them.  They always ended up going to waste. Every year the kids come home with candy for Valentine's Day and every year I take some and dump them.  Don't get me wrong, they get candy.  But we don't need more dentist visits so I'm particular about what they keep.  No chewy candy that can sit in their teeth.  This year I bought tiny heart lollipops for my little one's class.
