Flagstaff has an elevation of 7000 feet and is nestled by the San Francisco Peaks. This charming mountain town is known for its mild and dry climate, making it a great destination all year round. It’s also within close proximity to Sedona, Phoenix, and the Grand Canyon National Park which makes it perfect for exploring the beauty of Arizona. Flagstaff is an ideal destination for families with so many things to do and is home to many students going to Northern Arizona University.
About Club Wyndham Flagstaff
We visited Flagstaff to play in the snow with the family. So, we needed a large space for when we were stuck inside together, along with things to do inside the resort.
Club Wyndham Flagstaff is a 3-star hotel resort vacation rental, offering modern, spacious accommodations and a range of amenities to meet the needs of any traveler. The resort features two outdoor pools, two hot tubs, an onsite restaurant and bar, a fitness facility, laundry facilities (inside rooms), and free Wi-Fi access.
Tennis and pickleball are available at the Continental Country Club. For those looking for entertainment options, like us (we have a 9 years old, an 11-year-old, and a grandfather who lives with us) the resort also has a game room, which was important for when we had the itch to get out of the condos.
In addition, the business center offers computer access for those who need to stay connected while on vacation. I enjoyed working from the condo enjoying the view of the beautiful deer from the patio.
The resort staff was friendly, helpful, and knowledgeable about the area and provided advice on local attractions and activities. They are also available to help with any requests guests may have during their stay.
Suites
Club Wyndham Flagstaff is a top-of-the-line resort that offers luxury accommodations and a variety of amenities for travelers. The resort features spacious rooms with comfortable bedding, complimentary Wi-Fi, flat-screen TVs, DVD player, and luxurious bathrooms. Guests can choose from several suite options, including a two-bedroom Deluxe Suite with a full kitchen, and separate living area, and a hot tub on the balcony.
Each unit also includes cable TV, free local calls, and a private balcony or patio. Select units also offer views of the surrounding landscape.
We had a two-bedroom suite that was adjoined to a one-bedroom suite so we could switch rooms. It made it easy to break up the family when needed. The one-bedroom suite comes with an indoor hot tub.
Location
This resort is in a convenient location situated within easy reach of many attractions that Flagstaff has to offer. It is only five miles from the campus of Northern Arizona University and just six miles from the Flagstaff Pulliam Airport. Other nearby attractions include Lowell Observatory, Grand Canyon National Park, Walnut Canyon National Monument, and Sedona. It’s also a 10-minute drive away from Downtown Flagstaff.
You can take the Iconic Route 66 to downtown or the highway. On your way out, grab breakfast at the Toasted Owl. You will definitely leave satisfied.
The closest major airport is Phoenix International Airport and you can also fly out of Sedona at the Sedona Airport Vortex.
Amenities
Club Wyndham Flagstaff offers a variety of amenities to make your stay comfortable and enjoyable. The resort features two outdoor swimming pools with two hot tubs, tennis courts, pickleball, a fitness center, a golf shop, a golf course, a game room for the kids, and free parking.
There is also an onsite restaurant and bar called Oakmont. There is also free private parking!
Wi-Fi
All the units offer complimentary Wi-Fi and do not require a password.
Gym Facilities
The Fitness Center is open from 5 AM-10 PM. It includes Peloton Bikes, Matri equipment, and a weight room.
On-Site Restaurant
Oakmont is a locally owned restaurant and bar situated on the resort grounds. It’s open for breakfast, lunch, and dinner, offering multiple dining options including burgers, nachos, salads, sandwiches, and more. They also have an extensive craft beer selection. On the weekends, they feature live music and on Wednesdays, they offer free kid’s meals.
Bear Paw Recreation Center
The Bear Paw Recreation Center is everything to our family! It comes with a Nintendo switch game room, mini golf, table tennis, a pool table, an outdoor pool and two hot tubs, and other amenities. The kids love the snack bar too. The Bear Paw Recreation Center is open from 10 AM-8 PM.
If the kids are stuck inside, like this trip with the snow, they offer take-n-make crafts and activities.
Baxters Cafe offers tea and coffee, chicken tenders, pretzels, mac-n-cheese, and more. The kids love finishing their day with ice cream and a game of pool.

Although we didn’t have any special requests, you can ask for them such as a bag of ice, a rollaway bed, a baby gate, extra blankets, etc.

Club Wyndham Flagstaff is a great choice for families, offering plenty of space and amenities to keep everyone comfortable and entertained. The resort’s spacious units with full kitchens make it easy to prepare meals in the comfort of your suite.
