My Review

I found this book very informative.  I have seen other books advertised about the Ketogenic Diet but never really understood what it was about.  This book does a good job of explaining it, without complicating it.  It also has a lot of recipes that anyone can make, whether or not you are on rthe Keto diet. Some of them are very simple and some of them require quite a few ingredients.  Most of them sound delicious like the Chocolate Peanut Butter Fat Bombs.  However, I do not see myself putting butter in my coffee!!!! Overall, this is a great book with some amazing recipes.

  1. I have just tried the lemon bars recipe and for the life of me, I can’t figure out how one is supposed to press out liquid. When I mixed the almond flour and melted butter, it was the consistency of heavy cream! So I decided the recipe must have missed a 1 in front of the almond flour so I added another cup — and then the consistency was better. I have it in the refrigerator now with the cream cheese/gelatin mix — I hope it works! But I wondered if this was perhaps an error — there is no way one could press that 1/2 cup melted butter with 1/2 cup almond flour because it is a straight liquid!

  2. I want to make the Coconut Almond Flour Bread in the Bacon and Butter cookbook but it doesn’t say what size pan to use (and I have several sizes). Any suggestions?
