Baby Products - July 20, 2016

I am that mom that uses baby wipes for pretty much anything.  I’ve been using baby wipes for over four years now.  They have cleaned many hands and feet, including my own, wiped away dirt and grime off of toys and tables.  I probably won’t ever stop using them; they are so practical.   I’ve even wiped down my car with them.

But it scares me to know what wiping a toddlers face with a baby wipe does to them.  Unfortunately, out of desperation, I have had to do this in the past. I honestly did not realize how many chemicals where in baby products until I had a situation happen to me at home.

I noticed that the stain on my wood coffee table was lifted in different areas of the table.  It was if someone had wiped down the table with a chemical that lifted the stain.  Then I saw my son proudly take out some baby wipes and show me how he cleans the table.   I couldn’t believe that this was how my table got ruined!  How can something used for babies, to wipe their little sensitive areas be so harsh?  Now I understand why we use diaper cream so much.

Using chemical free baby wipes solves that problem easily.   I was excited to try WaterWipes,  a chemical free baby wipe that contains only two ingredients, 99.9% pure Irish water and 0.1% grapefruit seed extract.  I went to Target and purchased them in the diaper/wipes section.

Of course the kids couldn’t wait to get their little fingers on them and it was a relief to know that no matter what, this was something they could get into and I wouldn’t have to worry.  I used them to change the dirtiest of diapers and they proved to be durable.  They also held up when wiping their faces and hands.  They aren’t flimsy at all.

WaterWipes are good to have around for any unexpected mess.  You never know when you might need them.

I want the best for my boys but can’t always find what I am looking for at the local supermarkets.  Since WaterWipes are available at Target, it’s a no-brainer when looking for the world’s purest baby wipe.

  1. I don’t think I have heard of those wipes before. But they sound really useful. Can they be bought here in Canada?
