My Review

Terry Treetop Saves The Dolphin is a cute book about a red haired, freckled boy who loves to climb trees. It is about his adventure at the marine nature reserve while on his summer vacation. He comes across dolphins and sees that one gets caught up in a fishermens net. He uses his binoculars to get a ranger’s attention. After he helps save the baby dolpin he gets to play ball with the dolphins.

This is the second Terry Treetop book that my son and I read together and he was so excited, he asked me to read it again. He loves it.  He loves the colorful illustrations and counting the whales. He likes the idea of “saving” Dido the whale because he understands what it entails.  So he relates.  It’s educational and teaches children about keeping the environment safe.  It also showed what a good helper Terry Treetop was and encouraged him to come back.  It is an easy read and we really enjoyed it.
