I used to buy beads all the time. There was a store in Prescott, Az. where I spent hundreds of dollars buying beads. That shop has since closed- probably because I was paying their rent! lol. I love beading but can’t do it anymore. With two kids, I have to use my time wisely. So I have set aside the beads for hurricane parties. But thank God we haven’t had a hurricane in years here. I still have them for when I get the beading bug. There is something very therapeutic about beading and I love the end result.
So when I tried Sashka Co’s bracelets months ago I fell back in love with beads. These ones are really unique. Some of them have patterns and some are classic looking. They are really versatile and can be worn with a tank and shorts or with and evening gown.
They are handcrafted by artisans in the Kathmandu Valley of Nepal, crocheted, bead by bead using some of the world’s finest glass. There are no clasps but easily roll over any hand so they are sized for everyone.
Sashka Co is a fair trade company. Purchasing these bracelets empower Nepalese artisans to rise above poverty through fair trade. Also, $3 of every bracelet is donated to UNICEF to support earthquake relief efforts in Nepal.
