This is a Sponsored Post for Roots Italian Kitchen. However, all opinions are my own.
I had never been to Roots Italian Kitchen in Boca Raton, so when I was invited I was very excited to check it out. Like a lot of people in town I had heard about it but I had no idea what to expect.
Roots Italian Kitchen welcomes you in a modern, open space atmosphere that is reminiscent of a Top Chef challenge: white, contemporary, minimalistic. It looks nothing like your grandma’s favorite Italian restaurant with pizza, pasta, and the cliche tablecloth.
The flavors have nothing to do with grandma’s favorite either. No blend pasta smothered in questionable tomato sauce. Roots’ flavors are precise, bold. Dishes are expertly prepared and presented in a non-pretentious, yet sophisticated way.
Prices are affordable, especially for the location. Here’s what we ate…and it was delish!
Homemade Mozzarella Caprese Tower
Chopped Italian Salad
Spinach and Artichoke Dip
Chicken Pesto with Quinoa Salad
Chicken Fresco with Sweet Potato Fries
Chicken Penne A La Vodka
Homemade Gnocchi with Choice of Sauce
I really enjoyed the food at Roots Italian Kitchen and can’t wait to get back there, especially for the Quinoa Salad!
Check it out, they just opened for lunch!
