Skincare has always been a part of my life. My mom taught me the importance of taking care of my skin and the effects the environment had on it. I wish that I had listened to her sooner than later but fortunately I ended up working for some major skincare brands and it finally sunk in.
My skin is dehydrated and I’m always looking out my a good hydrating serum. I would rather have organic skincare but sometimes the “natural” fragrance gets to me and many times I can’t use organic for that reason. But I’m always willing to try!
So I decided to try Purxury Organic Hydrating Serum And Cleanser. First things first, it has no scent! How amazing is that? What’s also different about this serum is that it serves two purposes. I had a hard time believing it until I tried it. Purxury Organic Hydrating Serum And Cleanser can be used as a hydrating serum and a cleanser. It took me a while to get it because I couldn’t imagine using the same skincare to hydrate and cleanse. So I was really curious. I imagined that this serum would be greasy. But it’s not. And how could it cleanse and make my skin feeling cleansed? But surprisingly, it did! My skin literally felt cleansed! And it’s gentle enough to use around the eyes!
Now when I used the serum as a serum, it really stood by it’s claim of hydrating. There were a couple of times that I forgot to put moisturizer on top because my skin felt so hydrated. One thing that I want to reiterate is that it is easy to overuse the serum. A little goes a long way with this one ounce bottle.
Also, because this serum is so pure, with only natural, preservative free, nontoxic, and organic ingredients, it comes with a batch number because it’s not mass produced.
I have only used this product for a few days and can say that it seems to hydrate and there is a positive, noticeable difference in my skin. But I can’t tell you in detail because I haven’t seen the long term effects. The packaging is beautiful, the story behind it is amazing, but I am not sure I could spend $59.95 on it. However it is now on sale for $49.99! With that being said, I also am not used to the concept of using a multitask product either and can imagine that it would cost close to that to buy a serum and a cleanser. I love that they don’t make ridiculous claims of taking away wrinkles as they say on their website, “We will never claim to sell the path to perfect skin, we aim to products that will allow you to have the healthiest and most natural skin.”
Also, I respect that the products are a result from an experience of a family member getting cancer due to exposure t0 toxic materials. Proceeds from selling Purxury Organic Hydrating Serum And Cleanser help pay for medical bills. I enjoyed this product and would recommend it to anyone looking for a good hydrating serum.
