Munchkin Snack Catcher
Mommy Products - October 13, 2014

pTRU1-5745043dtI wasn’t going to post this product because I thought that most mommies MUST know about it, right?  But not me.  I was not that mommy who was in the know about everything when my first son was born and I’m still not the mother that googles the best of everything.  Some things, yes.  I have plenty of friends with toddlers but didn’t see this product until my son was about one and a half.

I was outside a kids play center and saw a woman trying to maneuver her twin boys.  They were all over the place.  She was clearly overwhelmed and I noticed that she was an “older mother” like myself.  We chatted while we waited for the place to open and I saw her pull out these snack catchers.  I looked in amazement as  I saw her boys pull out their snacks without making a mess.  Genius! I thought.   When I asked her about them, she looked at me like I had two heads.  “They have them at BabiesRus,” she said annoyed that I didn’t know what they were.  I still use them today with my three year old. Sometimes we remove the lid now that he is older.  They’re great because you can throw them in your diaper bag and not worry about them falling out everywhere.  They have handles for small hands that are easy to grip and prevent kids from making a mess controling how much food they pull out. I mostly fill them with cheerios.  Retails for $7.49.

  1. I never heard of Munchkin Snack Catcher until I read this review. They kind of remind me of Snackeeze containers. These are a must for people with toddlers. If a toddler opens a snack bag, the ingredients will end up everywhere! Or if a child is eating snacks, the snacks usually end up on the ground/floor. These fun 9 oz. containers feature soft flaps for easy access to snacks and are great for use at home, at daycare and on the go.
