I was working at Saks Fifth Ave when the Shu Uemura Eyelash curler was the big thing. Naturally I had one because we sold it so much. I would of never of given another makeup line a chance at their eyelash curlers. It was built into us that it was the Ferrari of eyelash curlers. It wasn’t until I started working at Nordstroms that I decided to try the Laura Mercier eyelash curler because I worked next to them and sold them. Laura Mercier clients are very loyal. Right away I was hooked. I didn’t even start curling my lashes until my late thirties. I was afraid I would rip my lashes out. So the Shu Uemura one came out for special occasions. But when I saw how easy the Laura Mercier one was to use and how it had perfect pressure on the lashes, I was hooked. It is so easy to use. You just pull back the little latch and it’s small and compact. I have one in my makeup bag that goes in my diaper bag and one upstairs in our bedroom bathroom. Retails for only $16.
