How To Eat Healthy On A Busy Schedule

Life is busy, whether your a mother or not.  Snacks are a big business and when you have kids, their snacks become your snacks.  Before you know it your living off of animal crackers, lol.

Our busy lives force us to make bad decisions sometimes.  I have been working on this ever since I had children.  My struggle for balance is a daily challenge.  Eating sensibly is one of those challenges.

We all want to find a better way to eat.  But does it have to be complicated to be healthy?  Sometimes it seems like a lot of work.  I weigh my food for portion control and count my macros.  I use an app to keep track of all my meals.  They have to be cooked fresh.  I don’t care for the frozen dinners full of salt. I also like a nutritionally balanced meal which I use my app for too.  It’s important at my age to get enough protein in my diet.  I can’t live off of carbs anymore like when I was eighteen-years-old.

  1. I am so guilty of this. Whenever I am too busy, I simply grab what’s available and those that are easier to prepare. You just reminded me to me more cautious and be more creative on what I eat despite my hectic schedule.

  2. Oooh how awesome!! I love easy and convenient!! Especially when I don’t have to go out and buy everything lol!! I forget everything when I shop!! Then prep and so on!! This sounds faaaaaabulous!!

  4. The amount junk food I eat because of my work schedule is too much. I am trying to eat healthy and have focused more on the go high calorie food. The Bistro MD sounds awesome, just hope it’s available in the UK
