I had never been to Roots Italian Kitchen in Boca Raton, so when I was invited I was very excited to check it out. Like a lot of people in town I had heard about it but I had no idea what to expect. Roots Italian Kitchen welcomes you in a modern, open space atmosphere that is reminiscent of a Top Chef challenge: white, contemporary, minimalistic. It looks nothing like your grandma's favorite Italian restaurant with pizza, pasta, and the cliche tablecloth. The flavors have nothing to do with grandma's favorite either.
