I love hair masks. I used to go to Sallys and buy a variety of them because my hair always seemed dry and brittle no matter what. When I was a child, I’d get my hair chemically relaxed because it was so wirey, my mom couldn’t figure out what to do with it. That was a long, long, time ago. Things have since changed and evolved. Now we have flat irons, keratin treatments, and these amazing hair reconstructors like the 911 Emgergency Pak.
When I recieved this product, my hair needed a good cut. It’s hard for me to stay on top of it with a toddler and an infant. Last time I went to the hairdresser, I had to take both. What was I thinking? So a friend offered to trim it for me in the meantime.
I considered using this treatment after she cut it, after all, what good would it be to my already damaged, color treated, brittle, dry hair? But then I thought, well, isn’t this what it says it’s for? My hair was fried. So I decided to apply it before I went to my friends house for the cut.
I was pleasantly suprised at how managable and soft my hair was after. And that was before I cut my hair! A few days later, I used the pak again and was pleased with the results. I used it again a few days later and as stated, there is not protein build up if used more than monthly. The smell is pleasant and I would definately recommend this product to anyone who has overprocessed or chemically treated hair.
